Description

iPhonography has quickly become an art form unto itself.  With the newest iPhone (and other phones) featuring multiple shooting modes like Time-Lapse, Portrait, Panorama, and with countless 3rdparty apps to choose from for post-processing, one can create instantaneous, spontaneous art that was simply not possible ten years ago.  This workshop will go through some of the myriad features and apps that will help you explore your artistic vision with this 21stcentury device.

Please note: you must bring a current smartphone to this workshop.

About the Instructor: Erik Gehring is a freelance photographer, specializing in trees and natural landscapes. He is a Past President of the Boston Camera Club. Erik’s work has appeared in Yankee Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Cape Cod Times, AMC’s Outdoors, E The Environmental Magazine, Northern Woodlands, and numerous other publications. His photography has been shown extensively at galleries and juried exhibitions throughout Eastern Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. He teaches classes in photography for the Arnold Arboretum, The Eliot School, Concord Center for Visual Art, and the Hyde Park Art Association. He also gives lectures at local museums, libraries, bookstores, camera clubs, and other institutions.
