Description

 

This class is open to beginners and more experienced artists alike. We will explore color, light, texture and space while making collages. Techniques will include painting papers and printmaking. Emphasis will be on a safe, non-competitive and joyous atmosphere. Alexandra will get you so busy making art that you will forget to get anxious!

 

*Instructor will provide all materials. Attendees please bring $25 cash or check for material fee*

 

 

 

 

 

About the Instructor: Alexandra Sheldon

Alexandra Sheldon lives and works in Cambridge. She attended the San Francisco Art Institute and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Previously a still life and landscape painter, Alexandra began making collages in 1998 and has not stopped since. She enjoys teaching collage and drawing workshops in her Central Square studio as well as in and around Boston.
