Description
Instagram Strategy for Artists with Molly Akin
This workshop is still running - but will be a webinar, must be able to access ZOOM, a video networking platform. (Link will be provided the day before the workshop)
You've set-up your Instagram account, posted images of your artwork, and built a following of friends and family. But now you need to connect with new audiences and opportunities. How can you make that happen?
In this session, you will learn how to use Instagram to showcase your artwork and connect with collectors, curators, and new opportunities. You'll learn how to use the platform as an integral part of your digital marketing strategy. We'll cover specific strategies for visual artists - including who to follow, how to increase engagement, hashtags, and the increasing importance of Insta-stories. You will leave with a strategic planning document, and the tools to expand your audience.
Please note: This is not a workshop on how to get started with Instagram, and will not cover account basics or other social media platforms. Attendees must set-up an Instagram account in advance of the workshop. A smartphone is required to participate in this session.
