Intro to Brush Lettering

In this 3-hour beginner course, we will dive into the basic structure of brush lettering. We will learn lettering anatomy & terms, brush strokes and their order, and how to add variation to your word form. In this class, we will mainly use brush pens, and also experiment with paintbrushes as well.

From this class, you will come away with a refined piece as well as the knowledge to keep lettering and practicing on your own. You can use this style of lettering to make wrapping paper, write a beautiful address on an envelope, and more!

All Materials will be included with the course fee. 

About Monique Aimee

Monique Aimee is an illustrator and lettering artist based in Boston, after a couple of years of living abroad in Tokyo and Australia. She obtained a BFA from Lesley Art + Design and practices in both digital and traditional mediums. Monique is represented by Closer&Closer and has worked with clients such as Coach, Adobe, Coca-Cola, and Patagonia.
