About Allison Tanenhaus

Allison Tanenhaus is a Somerville-based senior copywriter and digital artist. She earned her bachelor's degree in English from Harvard, her copyediting certificate from Emerson, and a smattering of continuing-ed design credits from MassArt. A decade as a marketing and advertising copywriter earned her kudos from the Hatch Awards, MITX, the Telly Awards, Adweek, The Boston Globe, Boston Business Journal, and the Higher Education Marketing Report. Recent freelance clients include The Grommet, MOO, Noodle, CBRE, and Northeastern University. Allison’s visual art career centers on digital abstract glitch. Recent commissions and installations include Bulfinch Crossing, the ICA Store, New England Synth Fest, and “GlitchKraft: Allison Tanenhaus + Friends” at Emerson Contemporary. Allison is eager to help other artists amplify their creative practices with clear, effective messaging for artist statements, bios, CVs, grant applications—and more!
