This CAA Day event celebrates one of the most important facets of the Cambridge Art Association community; our artist members! Join us for a lunch time visit to the studio of Mary Lewey, a collage artist based on the South Shore! You'll have a chance to hear where Mary gathers her materials and inspiration, the importance of sustainability in her practice, and see what she is working on.
All Virtual Studio Visits are free and open to all. If you would like to support this, and future programs, as part of our CAA Day Celebration, please click here to make a donation!
About the Artist:

A proud bookworm with an overactive imagination, Mary Lewey is a self-taught Boston artist who creates immersive collages. Intuitive and thoughtful with a sense of humor, Mary repurposes nostalgic or perhaps forgotten imagery into contemporary artwork that amuses.
Mary Lewey lives in Quincy, MA, and has lived in the Boston area since 2004. She completed her first collage series in 2013 as part of the Fun-A-Day Project. Since then, her collages have been exhibited at galleries and art spaces in Greater Boston. She is available for commissions, loves collaborating with other artists, and serves on the Board of Cambridge Art Association.
