Advanced Social Media Strategy for Artists, with Ayana Mack

THIS CLASS WILL BE HOSTED ON ZOOM.

 

This workshop series will cover strategies and tips on ways to maximize Instagram as an artist or creative. The goal is to give the participants an overview of ways to use features on the platform to increase sales, audience engagement, promote products, and more. In addition, participants will receive resources that are relevant to their business. 

*Please note: this workshop series is designed for artists and creatives who already have a presence on Instagram, but are looking for assistance with maximizing their strategy. An established account and basic knowledge of Instagram posts and story creation is required to register for this class. Session 1 | October 7 | Analyzing your Profile: Review your profile and dive into data to learn what is working and what can be improved. We'll cover Instagram Insights, Analytics, and features to help elevate your brand story.

Session 2 | October 14 | Instagram Trends: What do trends have to do with your brand strategy? You'll learn how to stay true to your brand voice while implementing trends, bringing awareness to your profile. 

Session 3 | October 21 | Developing a Social Media Strategy: You'll learn how to create a plan to support your larger business goals. Reviewing data and trends that increase sales, audience engagement, and more.

Session 4 | October 28 | Creating a Content Calendar: We'll discuss and develop a content calendar to help elevate your creative products or services. You'll learn how to write captions that speak to your brand personality, how to use hashtags and the importance of video content.


 

 

About Ayana Mack

For nearly ten years, Ayana Mack has worked with early-stage and established businesses/organizations. With a focus on brand development, print marketing, merchandise, product design & more. Some of the clients Ayana has worked with include Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, The Boston Arts & Music Soul, Inc., Massachusetts Association of Realtors®, Boston Public Schools and more. As an artist, she creates bright and texture-rich work to enrich communities and uplift individuals. Inspired by personal experiences, Black culture, and self-love, she shares essential messages through art while inspiring others to discover their passion. Over the last couple of years, Ayana has displayed and sold work in and outside of Boston, MA. One way Ayana brings awareness to the power of community is through public art. Working within communities of color across Boston and sharing her passion is one of her major goals. Over the last couple of years, she has completed two temporary public art pieces in Mattapan and Roxbury, MA. Lastly, she participates in panel discussions and speaking engagements, highlighting and bringing awareness to the artistic talent in communities of color.
