In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to make cyanotype prints using the power of the sun, water and your imagination! You’ll learn how to hand coat paper with a light sensitive solution, expose your print, wash and dry it. Some botanicals, lace and other source materials provided. Paper and chemistry provided. Materials fee of $25 includes plexiglass, foam core, clips and a special brush.
Please bring any items you want to print with: Flowers, leaves, shapes, lace etc.

About Susan Murie
Susan Murie is a New England-based artist working with cyanotype photography. Recent exhibits include I’ll See You Again, Soon at Abigail Ogilvy Gallery Boston, The National Prize Show, Cambridge Art Association, The Rhode Island Center for Photographic Art 8th International Call, 22nd Annual Frances N. Roddy Exhibition, Concord Art Center and the last several years in the MassArt Auction. Her artwork has been published in the London-based INKQ, written about in Boston Home Magazine and ArtScope online. She was recently interviewed on the podcast, CyanUtopia. In addition to private collections, her work is in the permanent collection of Fidelity and the City of Somerville. Murie is represented by Abigail Ogilvy Gallery and has an art studio in Boston’s South End.
