About the event

Please join Cambridge Art Association's (CAA) Spring Art Party on May 10, 2024 from 6-9pm at The Hive (located at 650 E. Kendall Street, Cambridge, MA). This annual fundraiser celebrates the regional arts community while raising crucial funds to support access to the visual arts for artists and arts supporters. The CAA’s 2024 Spring Art Party will honor dedicated community members, and will recognize the first recipients of a new Emergency Fund for Visual Artists. Featured activities include live portraits by Michelle Stevens, an open bar, and catered bites. With special guest Michael J. Bobbitt, Director of the Mass Cultural Council.

The evening will also honor five community members who have positively impacted CAA, and CAA will announce our Spring 2024 Emergency Fund for Visual Artists recipients.

There will also be a silent auction with items from Flour, Pammy's, Henrietta's Table, Cambridge Brewing Co., Off the Beaten Path Food Tours and Experiences, Formaggio Cheese Cave Tour, Rose Art Museum, ICA, Brattle Theater, American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), and Paddle Boston.

Ticket price:

• Catered food
• 3 drink tickets
• Discounted parking at the 350 Kendall Garage ($2 per hour)
• 10% of all ticket sales and sponsorships will support the CAA’s Emergency Fund for Visual Artists.

Sponsorship Levels + Benefits:

10% of all ticket sales and sponsorships will support the CAA’s Emergency Fund for Visual Artists, which aims to provide crucial, immediate support for artists of all ages as they pursue career building opportunities. The goal of the Artist Emergency Fund is to provide stipends to artists to offset the costs of framing, shipping, and supplies related to exhibition opportunities. 

Funds raised support the Cambridge Art Association, a registered 501c3 charity serving visual artists in Cambridge, and across New England.

All sponsors receive:

• A one-year Friend Membership at CAA, including access free events as well as 20% discounts on CAA Programs
